Are there any St Patricks Day events happening?
Published 1 year, 8 months ago in Entertainment.I’m wondering if there’s any events on in Melbourne or the suburbs this Saturday to celebrate St Patrick’s day… Does anyone know of any?

I know of nothing special happening, all I know is that every tavern in Melbourne will be jam packed with people drinking and singing along to whatever music happens to be playing.
There is ALWAYS a great time to be had at a few places in Melbourne & surrounding suburbs…i.e. the Celtic Club - corner Latrobe & Queen St in Melbourne CBD, and the Quietman pub in Racecourse Rd Flemington….have a great day…

I’ll see what everyone feels like on the day… it would be awesome to go out to drink instead of staying home getting ratty.
Try Paddy’s Tavern, just down from Capt Americas, or just down, from just down, past the cemetery in FTG

Maybe next year… this time I had a cold, and my mum made Irish stew and decorated the kitchen with paper shamrocks so we stayed home! But I’ll keep those ideas in mind for next year… It’d be awesome to go to a pub for St Pat’s.
Chaos, i imagine that you wouldnt be surprised to learn that theshadow’s dad is a muso and singer, and does a mean Irish tune, and jig.

My friend says that all Irish songs are about having to leave one’s girl behind… is that true?

The Basin Music Festival? When is that? Where is that? Do they have rap, rock, metal or alternative music? Is it free?
Sorry for the questions… I have worlds of empty Saturdays to fill, and the horrible knowledge that I’ve never seen live music to banish…
Sorry chaos, it seems that i often loose track of my posts and stuff. The festival was on last weekend, and it had everything. For those that are students, there were a lot of free events, and yes, you would have heard my human dad sing and play guitar, and tim whistle. He he he he he
Other thing, and i am not pressuring you into anything, but my human dad is thinking about holding an exhibition / sale of his traditional untouched photos, and was wondering if the Lady Chaos would be interested in joining in.
