How Cool is that… and then some!

How Cool is an awesome ladies’ fashion shop in Box Hill Centro shopping centre that I highly recommend visiting. I absolutely love it because the clothes there are actually different from the standard tight, striped teenagery clothes you find in pretty much every clothes shop these days. I went there today and spent most of the time just wandering around the store in awe and pointing out really cool items of clothing to my sister Nebs (including what looked like a gothic pirate shirt! 
Wow!!)
Most of the clothing at How Cool is smart-casual, although they have a gorgeous range of amazingly different evening and formal dresses at surprisingly decent prices. But the best thing is just the wonderful variety. How Cool’s range includes simple jumpers, jackets, skirts, etc as well as elegant and gothy looking clothes, oriental-style dresses and tops and a few downright outrageous, costumey things here and there. And everything in between! Also, much to my delight, How Cool completely sidesteps the scruffy look, low-rise pants, or midriff tops. At last!!
The one problem with How Cool’s range is that they don’t seem to have any pants. While that’s okay if, like me, you’re trying to replace pants with skirts in your wardrobe, it is a drawback considering that if they did have pants, they’d probably be really awesome.
The prices are great, and they still have at least 4 discount racks, including 30% and 50% off. Their size range is absolutely wonderous, catering for all sizes and shapes, and I especially noticed a focus on larger sized clothes which is delightful to see. The store itself is pleasantly big and spacious, doesn’t have clothes out of reach high on the walls, and, joy of joys, there is no insanely loud and offputting doof-doof music. It’s easy to take your time and look around, and the staff aren’t aggressive about trying to sell you stuff. There are fitting rooms, although I warn you, once you start trying on the clothes, you may be unable to resist buying them!
How Cool is located in Box Hill Centro, behind the escalator near Bubble Cup.
(Also, might I recommend Box Hill Centro as a great place to go shopping anyway - Centro has quite a few good clothes and jewellery shops, delicious food shops, and an interesting fresh produce market. And it’s small enough so that you won’t get tired walking around.)

I haven’t been to any of the BoxHill shops since way before they had that big make over. I’m usually only driving through or on the train going under.
sounds good lady chaos……..I hope they cater for old ladies !! I might wander down there one day. Boxhill has changed so much nowadays……..
Lets have the fashion show then? Break out the digital camera and try your the Nooks next top model style on your nook! lol it be a lark.
Winnierose - heheh… don’t worry, 1. you’re not an old lady, no way… that would make me middle aged! and 2. yes, incidentally I think How Cool’s market might be aimed a little higher in the age bracket than most clothing shops. Box Hill is awesome… if you do visit, try Bubble Cup tea or Puffy filled cookie bites… Asian food is really interesting.

I change buses every day at box hill centro, on the way to uni, so after exams, I will definately check it out!
